The national authority on seafood have launched an amazing new campaign called Fish Is The Dish to encourage the people of Britain to eat more fish by promoting its health benefits, along with the wide variety of tasty and convenient recipes that we all enjoy.
As part of this campaign myself and several other blogger have been challenged in the Ready, Steady Cook Fish to create our very own Fish Dish in just 30 minutes and as I love a Challenge I couldn't wait t get involved. I decided to link my favourite flavours as well as a spicy hint as I adore spicy food and so here is my recipe......
Spicy Garlic Salmon Fillets
Ingredients
4 Salmon filet's
For the Garnish
2/3 cloves of Garlic (depending how much you love garlic)
1 green chili
2 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of garam Masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Fresh bunch of coriander (washed)
Season with salt and pepper
Serve with
Sweetcorn mange tout/small knob of butter
Basmati rice
Method
Blend all of the garnish ingredients together until you have a soft consistency
place garnish on top of Salmon fillets and then bake in the oven gas 5 for 25 minutes.
Next blanch the mange tout and sweetcorn for 5/10 minutes, drain and gently toss into melted butter to flavour for 2 minutes.
Serve Salmon with blanched mange tout and sweetcorn with basmati rice.
Quick simple and delicious, if you like it really spicy why not add an extra chili
