Hotel Chocolat - The School Of Chocolate Children's Workshop

We adore the delicious taste of Hotel Chocolat, So as huge Chocolate lovers we were super delighted to attend a one hour Children's Easter Workshop session in the heart of London's Covent Garden.

 

We headed down the winding staircase to Cocoa Vault and was greeted warmly by the staff, The children donned on their aprons and we were introduced to the Chocolate process and how the delicious Chocolate that we know and love is made, We had the opportunity to taste a Cocoa Bean as well as the tempered chocolate, delicious.

  

The tables before us were filled with jars of chocolate treats and a variety melted chocolate in icing bags, The boys excitedly began to decorate their very own chocolate slab and chocolate egg.

 

The boys had an amazing time creating their masterpiece's, it was great to watch them having so much fun getting creative and slightly messy. Once the chocolate designs were complete it was time to create and design a presentation box to put their delicious chocolate treats in.

 

We all had the most amazing time, it was great to learn about the chocolate process and the boys loved being mini chocolatiers for the morning, The children's workshop was great fun and educational, most defiantly an experience they would love to experience again. We left with a awesome Hotel Chocolat goody bag which contained the chocolate treats they had created along with a extra smiley Hotel Chocolat lolly pop and hat.
