X+Y Movie Review


We were really excited to watch the critically acclaimed drama X+Y  Inspired by a true story,
X+Y  follows maths genius Nathan (AsaButterfield) who from a very early age is diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum, Nathan struggles to to connect with those around him, especially his own mother (Sally Hawkins) who desperately wants to connect with Nathan and comfort him following the death of Nathans.


Nathan is a talented boys who finds comfort in what he knows best numbers and mathematics.Nathan soon builds an amazing bond his teacher Mr Humphreys (Rafe Spall) and soon Nathan's amazing mathematical talents win him a place on the United Kingdom Maths Squad,This amazing opportunity will see Nathan's life move in a new direction, when the British Team is invited to Taiwan Nathan meets Zhang Mei (Jo Yang), This see Nathan experience a whole new range of emotions and feelings.



X+Y is a heart warming movie that will almost certainly have you reaching for the tissues.Suitable for ages 12 and above.
