Love At First Light With Co-Operative Food

For me there is nothing quite like a delicious breakfast, I certainly adore a warm croissant topped with jam for breakfast.
Its Valentines Day this Sunday, And as its the weekend you can celebrate all day long,What better way to start the day then with Co-Operative Food Love At First Light Valentine Breakfast.

Pancake Hearts



Ingredients:
300g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp caster sugar
2 Loved by Us medium eggs
1 tbsp Buckwud Canadian Maple Syrup
300ml semi-skimmed milk
2 lemons
Blueberries
Strawberries
Equipment:
Large bowl
Whisk
Non-stick frying pan
Spatula

Step by step instructions:
Step 1 - Mix flour, baking powder and sugar into a large bowl with a pinch of salt. Crack in the eggs and whisk until smooth, adding the maple syrup while mixing.

Step 2 - Bring a non-stick frying pan to the hob and add a small knob of butter. Pour in your pancake batter and cook until bubbles start to form on the surface. Flip the pancake and cook the other side for 30 seconds.

Step 3 - Remove the pancakes and add the finishing  touches. Serve with plenty of fruit and syrup.
