Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds

I love living in London as their are so many places to visit especially during the half term holidays, This half term we were delighted to visit Madame Tussuads in Londons West End.

It was our first experience of visiting Madame Tussauds and as the boys are older it was great for us all to enjoy the experience the day out together,

Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussuads is a famous waxworks museum in London, which features a host of famous celebrities, sport personalities and people of  political influence, As well as film and music stars from around the world.

We were really excited when we arrived, there was a buzz in the air and the staff were enthusiastic and happy to assist,We excited for the day ahead. We set off in the lift and headed for the 2nd floor, from here you will work your way around and down, Madame Tussuads is set out in areas to help you navigate yourself around, from Partying on the red carpets to influential people past and present.

Next we were treated to a behind the scenes look at fashion week, It was really busy when we arrived, so we didn't really get the opportunity to explore as much as we would have like to, but from what I did see it looked amazing.

We were soon in the Film and Movies area, it was great to take pictures with classic movie stars, we then passed some well known You Tubers and then onto Sport and Culture. It was great to be so close, the detail of each waxwork was amazing. After this point you then can decide if you want to head through the Chamber Of Horrors.

Before we knew it were ready for the tour of London Culture, We took our seats in the famous Spirit Of London Taxi Ride, We were then whisked around for a brief history of London from the great fire of London to Shakespeare, The taxi ride was awesome and had to be one of my favourite parts of the day.

We were then in for a real treat as we headed into the Marvel 4D Movie, We took our seats and we were treated to an awesome short story featuring our favorite marvel superheroes, the graphics were awesome,There was gentle back pokes and rumbling through our chairs, even a gentle spray of water to coincide with the scene, you really have to experience it to fully understand how magical this experience is.

We then headed into the Star Wars area, it was quite busy but we did manage to explore and capture some awesome pictures.

I would definitely love to visit Madame Tussauds again, The price is quite reasonable for a London attraction at £23.80 for an adult when booked online, and as its such an amazing day out with the kids its worth every penny. Madame Tussauds its defiantly a must see attraction. We all enjoyed very minute of our time that we spend there.

We put together a quick video to share some of pictures from our day at Madame Tussauds,
