We were delighted to be invited to London's Empire Leicester Square to the exclusive screening of The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book 2016 is based on Rudyard Kipling's classic story which inspired the 1967 Disney movie. This cool remake has everything you could possibly want from stunning 3D graphics to edge of your seat viewing.
The story follows Mowgli (Neel Sethi) who was raised by a pack of wolves, as Mowgli is getting older he soon finds his life in danger when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) vows to end the man cubs existence as he feels he is becoming a threat. Mowgli decides it's best for him to leave the jungle with the help of his trusty Panther friend Bagheera (Ben Kingsley).
But all is not what it seems as Mowgli sets off he finds himself in danger from Shere Khan, Bagheera manages to step in and hold back the fierce tiger, giving Mowgli time to escape. As Mowgli continues his journey he meets Kaa (Scarlett Johansson) the hypnotic python who sets her sights on Mowgli, it's at this point we are introduced to Baloo (Bill Murray) the fun loving bear who saves the day. Baloo conveniences Mowgli stay and help him gather honey, so they set off on a fun adventure. It's not long before Mowgli ends up in the hands of King Louie (Christopher Walken) the huge orangutan, who offers to protect Mowgli if he shares the secret of the fire flower (fire).
But the threat on Mowgli life continues and Mowgli soon finds himself having to stand up to the fierce tiger Shere Khan for once and for all.
A fantastic gripping movie full of suspense and action, we felt like the animals were literally jumping out from the screen that's how realistic and stunning the 3D graphics were, we loved that there was a hint of the old Disney movie with the song "I wanna be like you" which was a fantastic reminder of the classic. A Perilous action adventure will leave you wanting to watch this movie again. Jungle Book is rated PG due to mild perilous scenes and fierce animals. A must watch. Thank you Disney UK for the invite we had the most amazing day.
