The RNLI – the charity that saves lives at sea they are encouraging people across the UK to cook a fish supper for friends and family to raise money for the volunteer crew members who often have to sacrifice dinner with their loved ones to help those in trouble at sea. So we wanted to get involved and share a recipe with our readers to share the importance of togetherness as team spirit is central to the RNLI, and is what makes the charity and its volunteers so special.
SALMON NOODLES
Cooking Time -10 Minutes
Serves- 3
Ingredients
1 Tin of Red Salmon
4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
I Small Chunk Of Ginger
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Green Chili
Handful of Green Garden Peas
4 Mini Sweetcorn cobs (cut into thin slices)
3 Spring Onions
1 Pack (410g) Egg Noodles
1/4 of a Teaspoon of Mixed Curry Powder
Coriander to Garnish
Salt to Taste
Method
Step 1 - In a large frying pan add the olive oil and gently fry the ginger,garlic,chili, spring onions, sweetcorn and peas in the oil for a few minutes.
Step 2 - add the Red Salmon and curry powder, season with salt and cook for a further 3 minutes.
Step 3 - Add the egg noodles and gently toss all ingredient together cook for a further 5 minutes.
Step 4 - Garnish with coriander and serve.
A delicious tasty meal in minutes, and if you like it spicy why not add an extra chili or for a different taste omit the curry powder and add Chinese 5 spice.
