When it comes cooking I generally cook with olive oil, so I was really delighted to hear that Bertolli has added to its versatile range with Bertolli with Butter & Olive Oil. Bertolli with Butter & Olive Oil is produced with the finest ingredients and blended with premium quality butter and specially selected olive oil. You can still have the goodness of olive oil but with the delicious taste of butter without the risk of burning even when cooking with really high temperatures. This is really exciting for me, so I couldn't wait to put this so I decided to cook my Sweet and Sour Salmon.
2 salmon fillets
Small knob of Bertolli with Butter & Olive Oil
Zest of Lime
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp of Sweet Chili Sauce
Method:
1- Mix together the soy sauce, sweet chili and lime zest in a bowl generously spread of salmon fillets and allow them to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2 - Heat a frying pan until hot and add the Bertolli with Butter & Olive Oil allow to melt and sizzle, place the fillets skin side down first to gently brown then after a couple of minutes turn over and cook for another 2-3 minutes Serve on a bed of salad.
The Bertolli with Butter & Olive Oil block was great to use when cooking it gently browned the fish to perfection and added to the delicious infusion of flavours.
