We were really excited to head to Greenwich theatre to watch Robinson Crusoe. This fun family-friendly pantomime tells the story of Robinson Crusoe who sets sail on an amazing journey in search of the lost gold, Polly Perkins his love interest and niece of Captain Wallace Windblower sneakily joins him onboard the ship, against her uncle's wishes, but watch out Gingerbread the pirate and his gang are also in hot pursuit of the lost gold.
This action-packed production has larger than life characters which will entertain and inspire with their amazing performance, our favourite character on the night had to be Delores Crusoe played by (Andrew Pollard who also wrote and directed this fantastic production) she literally had me crying with laughter, her stage presence was amazing, and her costumes were defiantly a talking point at an interval time,
with an array of stunning song choices old and new which will leave you tapping your feet and singing along, of course, no panto would be complete without a little audience participation which defiantly went down well.
Robinson Crusoe is musically stunning and hilariously funny with a few subtle adult innuendo jokes that went totally unnoticed by the younger audience, this action-packed adventure will be loved by young and old alike and is defiantly a must-see if I'm honest I could watch this again it was that good. Robinson Crusoe is on at the Greenwich Theatre until the 13th of January, for more information check out https://greenwichtheatre.org.uk.
