Playmobil The Movie is a fun animated comedy movie inspired by the fabulous role play Playmobil toys. The adventure follows Marla (Anya Taylor-Joy) who dreams of adventures travelling around the world.
But that all comes to an abrupt end when Marla and her younger brother Charlie (Gabriel Bateman) have to deal with some devastating life-changing news. As time passes Charlie becomes fed up with his situation and set off for a mini-adventure, Marla follows Charlie and soon they both find themselves on an unexpected adventure of a lifetime, but the pair soon become separated.
Marla finds herself journeying across new and strange worlds to locate her lost brother, on her journey Marla makes some unlikely friends who help her on her quest, from food truck driver Del (Jim Gaffigan) and the cool charisma of secret agent Rex Dasher (Daniel Radcliffe), but just when Marla is about to give up hope a fairy-godmother (Meghan Trainor) give Marla some advice that will help her save the day.
The Playmobil movie is filled with humour and fun characters that you will love, the perfect movie that the whole family not only will love but will relate too, a story sharing an important message that you can achieve anything when you believe in yourself. Playmobil The Movie is out across UK cinemas on the 9th August.
