We were lucky enough to visit this year Lightopia festival in London’s Chiswick House Gardens. Lightopia is an immersive visually stunning lantern and light festival which has toured Manchester and Edinburgh and is now in London.
We couldn’t wait to see what awaited us, having read so much about the festival and seeing the images of the trail we were super excited for the evening ahead. we eagerly headed to the main entrance of the park, as soon as we arrived it was clear that we were in for a real treat as brightly colourful Lightopia sign greeted us.
We wandered through the light trail passing the various installations each unique and spectacular from The Love Gate, Tree of Life and The Flower Road, there were so many installations to see, it was an amazing display of light art and sculptures, some of the light installations moved to music whilst others were just visually pleasing to experience.
There was a wonderful selection of food and drink available from delicious churros, chips to hot and cold drinks. At the end of the light trail, there were yet more attractions to experience from a mini funfair and a few more food and drinks stalls.
Overall Lightopia was an amazing experience which I feel privileged to have shared with my loved ones, I would defiantly recommend visiting it’s a great evening out and is suitable for all ages.
