London Transport Museum Is Re-Opening

We have always loved visiting the London Transport Museum and have really missed not visiting over the summer, but we are happy to share that London Transport Museum will reopen its doors on 7 September 2020. The Museum including its much-loved shop and café Canteen will reopen daily between 11:00 and 19:00, except for Thursdays and Sundays when the Museum will close earlier at 18:00. But you will need to book your timed tickets in advance online. Book online here https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/visit.

If you haven't visited the London Transport Museum’s Depot in Acton, then I highly recommend you go, The London Transport Museum’s Depot in Acton will reopen for visitors to explore for its first-ever summer season.

The depot full of transport treasures will now be open for 10-days of summer family fun from Wednesday 19 to Sunday 23 and Wednesday 26 to Sunday 30 August 2020.

Families will enjoy the cool collection from vintage London buses to classic Tube trains, and kids will receive a special activity pack. Timed tickets must be booked in advance online. For more details about the Depot opening can be found on the Depot Summer Season page.

The museum has also recently launched a fundraising appeal so head over and show your support as the museum doesn't receive regular funding from central government and it costs over £25,000 a day to open the Museum. By donating, you will help the Museum and care for our world-leading collection and deliver our vital employability and skills programmes to get young Londoners back on their feet with job opportunities and apprenticeships in the transport industry.
