To celebrate the highly anticipated release of The Addams Family 2, Showcase Cinemas is launching a Halloween dress-up competition and giving away free family tickets to the best entries.
The spook-tacular ‘Scaredy Kids’ competition will run throughout October in the lead up to the hair-raising holiday and encourages parents to send in pictures of their little monsters dressed up in their best - and scariest - Halloween costumes.
The giveaway is being launched to coincide with the release of the new animated comedy The Addams Family 2, which is out now – just in time for the season’s spooky celebrations to begin.
The family-friendly film sees A-listers like Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz and Snoop Dogg, voice the iconic characters, and serves as the sequel to 2019’s The Addams Family.
The main characters Morticia and Gomez are distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and consumed by "scream time". To reclaim their bond, they cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation.
The eventful adventure across America takes them out of their element and into run-ins with their cousin Itt and other kooky characters – it’s a movie not to be missed this autumn.
