Jack and the Beanstalk - Hackney Empire

We were super privileged to attend the much anticipated annual pantomime performance at Hackney Empire - Jack and the Beanstalk. When happy-go-lucky Jack sells his family’s beloved cow for a fistful of magic beans, he finds himself on a marvellous yet dangerous adventure.

Join Jack on his journey up an enchanted beanstalk where he battles the rampaging giant and Fenella Fleshcreep with the help of his Simple Simon Jill Higginbottom and his larger then life mum Daisy Trot. 

Jack and The Beans star the legendary Kat B as Simple Simon, Zoe Curlett as Fenella Fleshcreep and Julie Jupp as Fairy Fusia,  Ellie Ruiz Rodriguez as Jill Higginbottom, Rochelle Sherona as Jack Trot, Tony Whittle as Councillor Higginbottom and Clive Rowe as Dame Daisy Trott. 

This fun feel good production is filled with laugh-out-loud gags, awesome costumes and scenery changes, along with stunning vocals and mesmerising dances, there are even some cool tap-dancing cockroaches.

Hackney Empire’s is one of the much anticipated annual pantomimes we look forward to as it never fails to disappoint, always a must-see production for the entire family.
